A welcome return of this favourite varietal. The 2019 has echoes of the outstanding 2017 vintage. Just as big and full bodied, this is a must-have in the cellar. A decadent combination of wild blackberry and ripe mulberries arrive at the front of the palate, leading into the rich tannins accented with flavours of dark chocolate, coffee, star anise and hints of mint. Excellent oak integration adds to the great complexity of this wine.

Details
A rich flavour filled wine with big earthy Cabernet fruit to the fore and lots of velvety dark chocolate and mocha on the palate. Spice and a hint of mint flavours combine with a soft full tannin profile. Excellent oak integration adds to the great complexity of this wine.
Beautiful with saucy red meat dishes such as casseroles.
This wine is already delicious, however 10-15+ years cellaring and it will be an exceptional experience.
